The youth of DUE was proudly crowned at the flashmob competition “Waves of the youth”

Overcoming 81 teams from universities, colleges, DUE Dance of the University of Economics (Da Nang University) won the first prize and the prize of VND 100 million at the finale of the Flashmob competition. The contest was co-organized by Vietnam Students Association and Vietnam Television and Da Nang International Fireworks Organizing Committee.
This year's competition brings “waves of the youth” theme for students of colleges and universities acrossing the country with a total prize value of over VND 300 million. Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Chairman of the Central Association of Vietnamese Students, said that the competition was a useful playground to meet the community's entertainment needs. This is also an opportunity to introduce dynamic and talented images of Vietnamese students to international tourists and friends.

On the runner-up position, HNCheer - RAPS team represented Hanoi to show a highly technical dance with waveforms, spectacular juggling on the same flexible expression with many props on the music background – “ Tiến Lên Việt Nam ơi”. The team of Zeal Dance Crew, the Vietnamese Student Association of Phu Tho province and the team of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy together won the Third Prize.

While Zeal Dance Crew shows an impressive dance performance that recalls the dance teams' competition, helping the audience feel the feelings of the teams standing on the stage of the finale, the representatives from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy makes the feeling of viewers be pushed to a new climax. Movements of the team with virtual changes in the familiar leaf hat and the blend of traditional and modern music with the background music “Người lạ ơi”, “Trống cơm”, “Đây là Việt Nam”. Dancing techniques with the use of creative music performed by the team surprised the audience, even causing debate among the jury members.
