STUDENTS’ OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

Our faculty’s student have frequently been achieving noticeable success in scientific research.

In 2014, the Faculty of Banking was awarded the honorable certificate for good achievements in scientific research orientation for students.

Followings are several excellent and high-achieving research works in the recent years.

In 2018:

Topic: The effect of national debts on the economic development: Experimental study in some developing countries.

Researcher: Le Thi Tien Chi (School year 40K24)

Achievement: Second prize in Student research competition 2018

In 2017:

  1. Topic: A study into the impact of capital funding sponsorship on entrepreneur’s effectiveness

Researcher: Nguyen Thi Thanh Hien (School year: 39K7)

Achievement: Second prize in Student research competition 2017

                      Top 10 selected research works for participation in the Eureka Student Research competition by the cooperation of The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth union and Ho Chi Minh International University.

2. Topic: The impact of foreign ownership on capital structure of Vietnam firms listed on HSX.

Achievement: Third prize in Student research competition 2017

In 2016:

1. Topic: Targets' pre- and post-bid performance and bidder's ownership decisions: An empirical study of bank acquisition in Vietnam.

Achievement: First prize in the Fourth National Student Research Competition of Economic and Business Administration Universities.

2. Topic: A study into the impact of interbank money market rate on Vietnam’s exchange rate

3. Topic: The liquidity and capital structure: a study into Vietnam’s market.
