FACULTY-LEVEL ACCEPTANCE OF THE POSTGRADUATE TEXTBOOK “MONETARY AND FINANCIAL THEORY”

On the afternoon of January 13, the Faculty of Banking held a faculty-level evaluation and acceptance session for the postgraduate textbook “Monetary and Financial Theory” in a formal and academic atmosphere. The textbook, authored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lâm Chí Dũng, is designed to support postgraduate training in the field of Finance and Monetary Economics.

During the session, the evaluation committee focused on discussing and clarifying the textbook’s key contributions, particularly its systematic approach and the strong integration between theoretical foundations and real-world contexts. The textbook was highly regarded for its coherence, as it not only builds upon traditional monetary theories but also expands to address emerging topics such as digital currency and digital finance within modern financial systems.

The session also acknowledged the textbook’s role in standardizing teaching content, complementing existing academic materials, and aligning with both domestic and international references. It is expected to contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of teaching and research at the Faculty of Banking, University of Economics.
