EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY: “BANKING IN THE DIGITAL ERA”

On March 31, 2026, an extracurricular session for the Digital Banking course, titled “MB Bank – Banking in the Digital Era,” was organized at MB Hub, University of Economics. The activity aimed to provide students with a practical and academically enriching learning environment, with the participation of Youth Union members from classes 49K07.1 and 49K07.

The speaker, Ms. Lê Thị Mỹ Nhung—Deputy Director of MB Bank of South Da Nang and an alumna of cohort 32K07—presented a comprehensive analysis of MB’s digital transformation strategy. Her presentation combined theoretical insights with real-world experiences, enabling students to better understand the ongoing transformation in the banking sector. Specifically, she highlighted the evolution of core banking processes as well as the innovative approaches modern banks adopt to enhance customer engagement and competitiveness.

In addition to delivering specialized knowledge, the session also contributed to students’ personal and professional development by:

• Inspiring students through the career journey of a distinguished alumna
• Equipping them with essential skills required for the contemporary banking industry
• Facilitating direct interaction with industry experts, thereby supporting career orientation and professional networking

Overall, the program served as a meaningful bridge between academic learning and industry practice, fostering both knowledge acquisition and career readiness among students.
