1. Program objectives
1.1. General objectives
This programme is designed to train learners to become bachelors of commercial management that could have specialties in independently managing commercial activities. In addition, after completing this programme, learners also could have proper professional and ethical personalities as well as necessary skills including computer skills, foreign languages and business communication skills. The aforementioned learning outcomes could support learners to adapt to fast-changing business environment and develop needed abilities for lifelong learning.
1.2. Learning Outcomes
Graduated students that major in Commercial Management should have the following abilities:

In-depth knowledge of commercial operational activities including transaction negotiation, merchandise purchasing, trade promotion, electronic commerce, and import-export business

In-depth knowledge of related elective courses such as international business, entrepreneurship, economics and finance
Analytical thinking and decision making skills related to commercial activities in organisations
Managerial skills that support cooperation between operational divisions in commercial organisations
English skills that are equal or higher than IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent)
Marketing research skills and abilities to design customer-oriented marketing policies
Operational managerial skills to plan and implement commercial policies such as merchandise purchasing, import-export activities, inventory management, trade promotion, electronic commerce, customer relation management, customer services in commercial organisations, especially in retail organisations.
Application abilities of economic principles to handle business issues and efficiently manage resources in commercial organisations
Utilisation abilities of information technologies to handle commercial business activities
Self-studying abilities to update commercial knowledge as well as related business fields
1.2.3. Attitudes and Behaviors
Individual personalities: Comply with laws and organisational regulations; respect individual differences; cooperate and create good relationships with others; be willing to confront difficulties and risks; have other individual personalities comprise perseverance, flexibility, hardworking, enthusiasm, self-motivated, independent, integrity, critical and creative thinking.
Professional personalities: have ethical, self-disciplined attitude, sense of responsibility as well as self-motivated, self-confident and professional attitude toward assigned tasks
Social responsibilities: have social concerns and actively participate in social activities related to local development issues as well as global considerable issues.

With better knowledge base of commercial management along with better opportunities for professional training and internship, students could develop their specialty skills in commerce more effectively and efficiently.

1.3. Career Opportunities
Graduates that major in Commercial Management could have the abilities to take jobs in commercial organisations, commercial service companies, commercial business consultancies, in commercial divisions inside an organisation or even could establish a commercial entrepreneurship. Right after graduation, Commercial Management students could take such job positions as sale staffs or commercial operating staffs in domestic or international companies, or in non-profit organisations. In the later stage of their career, Commercial Management students would have abilities to take higher managerial positions in their organisations. In additions, Commercial Management graduated students could have capabilities to take positions in commercial public administration organisations or in research institutes of commerce and international trade.
2. Training duration: Generally, according to the designed programme curriculum, students would graduate in 4 years; however, students could shorten their graduation time to 3 years depending on their study capabilities. The maximum time duration for graduation is 6 years.
3. Number of Required Credits: 134 credits, not including courses of Physical Education and National Defence Education.

5. Mode of Training: Credit-based training system
6. Grading Scale: According to the regulation of credit training system.

- Student could join workshops in which commercial specialists share their practical managerial experiences related to commercial issues that are taught in majoring courses.
