    General Introduction

    The undergraduate program in Management Information Systems (MIS) was developed and officially introduced in 2005. This program aims to train MIS professionals who can apply information systems in business management and organizational operations in the era of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.
    Students are equipped with both foundational and advanced knowledge in business management and information systems, along with professional skills to meet the current and future demand for MIS human resources in society.

    Distinctive Features of the MIS Program at DUE

    - Specialized training orientation: 30% of the training time involves enterprise participation.
    - Students are exposed to corporate environments early on with three internship phases:
      + Awareness Internship (Semester 2, Year 2)
      + Career Internship (Summer, Year 3)
      + Graduation Internship (Final semester)

    Admission Requirements

    The MIS program accepts candidates who meet the following conditions:

    1. Eligible candidates

    a. The applicant must have graduated from a Vietnamese high school (THPT) or possess an equivalent foreign diploma recognized as equivalent at the time of admission consideration.

    b. Additional conditions include:

    ●  Meeting the minimum admission threshold as regulated;

    ●  Being physically fit to study under current regulations;

    ●  Providing complete personal and application information.

    c. The university has specific regulations on candidates and admission conditions for each method of selection.

    d. For candidates with learning disabilities or physical impairments, the university provides the best conditions to support their application. The Rector will review and decide on allowing the student to join a suitable program.

    3. Admission Methods: By application review.

    The university offers the following official selection methods:

    Method 1: Direct Admission

    Eligible Candidates:

    ● Students winning prizes in national or international high school academic competitions and other students eligible for direct admission under the Ministry of Education and Training regulations.

    a. Students who are recognized as Labor Heroes, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, or National Emulation Soldiers are eligible for all programs at the university.

    b. Students who win first, second, or third prizes in international competitions (recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training) within the last 3 years and who graduated from high school in 2025 are eligible for all programs.

    c. Students who win national prizes in subjects such as Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, Foreign Languages, Informatics, History, and Geography:

    ● Only grade 12 competition results are accepted.

    ●  Subjects like Math, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, Biology, Foreign Languages, Informatics, Economic & Legal Education: can apply for all programs.

    ●  History and Geography: only applicable for majors in Law, Economic Law, and Public Administration.

    d. Other cases will be reviewed by the university’s Admissions Committee.

    Method 2: Combined Admission

    Eligible Candidates:

    ●  Group 2: Students who have participated in the "Road to Olympia" competition.

    ●  Group 3: Students who received a consolation prize in the National Academic Excellence Contest or a first/second/third prize in the Provincial/City-level High School Academic Excellence Contest:

    o  Only grade 12 results are accepted.

    o  Subjects such as Math, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, Biology, Foreign Languages, Informatics, Economic & Legal Education: eligible to apply for all programs.

    History and Geography: eligible to apply for majors in Law, Economic Law, and Public Administration.

    ● Group 4: Students with results from the 2025 Competency Assessment Exam organized by Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.

    ● Group 5:

    5A: Students with valid English language certificates and academic records for three relevant subjects.

    5B: Students applying based on scores from the 2025 national high school graduation exam in three subjects from a relevant combination.
