Graduation ceremony for Doctoral and Master degree – First batch of 2019

In the morning of 19^th May, 2019, University of Economics – The University of Danang solemnly held the Graduation Ceremony for Doctoral and Master Degree – 1^st Batch of 2019 with the attending of Board of Rector of The University of Danang: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Bac – Vice-rector and presentative of other units of The University of Danang. On behalf of University of Economics, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan – Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh – Vice-rector, representative of Faculties, Departments and Centers; lecturers as well as families of Doctors and Masters graduated in this batch.

The ceremony was an important day to the University as well as a landmark in the path of studying and researching of students. The Students already accomplished all the courses and thesis defense. In this batch, there was 1 Doctor’s Degree and 254 Master’s Degree (including 13 students from Laos) graduated from The University of Economics – The University of Danang majored in six programs: Economics and Developments, Economy Management, Business Administration, Finance – Banking, Accounting and Philosophy.

In 2000, University of Economics – The University of Economics was authorized by Ministry of Education to conduct post-graduate programs. Since then, a lot of Doctors and Masters of the 6 studies have graduated from the University, contributing to the high-quality human resources for the region of Central and Central Highlands and for the whole country. Especially, since the Class K30, the University has bee authorized to independently manage all the post-graduate programs.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan – Rector of DUE stated that: “Receiving the Graduation Certificate is a pleasure and an honor to each student. The new Doctors and Masters can continue their journey of researching or work for enterprises as higher positions that require more knowledge and hardwork. I hope that for whatever position you are assigned, you will always try your best to assert your abilities and qualities. The achievements you acquire in your businesses or researches are also the success and pride of University of Economics – The University of Danang, contributing to enhance the position and reputation of DUE. The University also welcome your visits, contribution and participation in activities of Alumni. Remember to keep in contact with other students to support each other and with the University to support undergraduate students.”

In the ceremony, DUE also awarded 8 post-graduate students with excellent performance in studies and researches. Representative of the Masters also showed their gratefulness toward the lecturers for supporting them in studying and researching: “The Degree is a recognition of skills and knowledge that we acquire as well as our hardwork in those years. Thank to these things, we have the confidence to grasp new opportunities and get ready for the 4^th  Industrial Revolution. Continuing the tradition of DUE’s post-graduate alumni, we will stay as a “bridge” between the University and local community and enterprises, contributing to build the position and reputation of University of Economics – The University of Danang.”
