University of Economics – The University of Danang held the Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day

In the morning of 20/11/2018, the University of Economics solemnly held the 36th Anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day (20/11/1982 - 20/11/2018). The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Lao Consulate, Assoc.Prof Nguyen Ngoc Vu - Director of Danang University, representatives of leaders of socio-political organizations, offices, functional departments of the University of Danang. On the side of the University of Economics – The University of Danang, the school's management board, leaders of faculties, divisions, centers attached to the school together with generations of former teachers, alumni and officers, lecturers, students of the University of Economics - University of Danang.
Representative of the School Board - Assoc.Prof Nguyen Manh Toan has reviewed the paths that teachers and students of the University of Economics have gone through to reach successes. The school year 2017 - 2018 witnessed the great efforts of all staff of the school in all aspects of operation with unanimous consensus, and the highest sense of responsibility. In the last year, Lecturers of the University have implemented 2 agricultural projects, 9 ministerial projects, 5 provincial projects, 16 projects for University of Danang. The number of international publications has increased with 9 ISI , 6 Scopus, and over 130 at prestigious conferences and magazines nationally and internationally.
In this year, the School is also the pioneer in building and recruiting students under the unique management system for Business Administration, Tourism Management, Management Informatics, Management Information Systems eCommerce, completed a joint university training project with CARDIFF METROPOLITAN (UK), thus contributing to the successful enrollment in 2018 with more than 3100 students enrolled.

Quality assurance according to AUN-QA standards is also one of the important goals to implement the development orientation of the school. Many QA activities have been implemented and up to now five RWT programs have been prepared for external evaluations and have registered for the accreditation of 5 training programs in 2019.
The system of material facilities of the University has been remarkably improved, including upgrading and upgrading of fully-equipped classrooms with modern equipment, Laos PDR, canteens...

At the ceremony, the University also honored the new associate Professor Tran Ngoc Anh and 8 new doctoral students of the University of Economics – The Unviersity of Danang. On this occasion, the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Director of the University of Danang awarded certificates of merit to two lecturers for their contributions to education and merit of the Minister of Education & Training for excellent completion of the task of 2 academic years for 3 groups and 3 individuals. Along with that, 5 collectives and 18 individuals from the University of Economics also received the certificate of merit from the Director of Danang University. In addition, the President of the University of Economics – The Unviersity of Danang also rewarded 4 collectives and 30 individuals with excellent achievements in the academic year 2017-2018.
The University also held meetings with teachers and former teachers to say gratitude to the generations who have overcome the difficult times to build and develop the University of Economics – The Unviersity of Danang to become a training human resource and the top university in the country today.
