CONFERENCE FOR STUDENTS OF THE YEAR 2018 - 2019 STUDENTS SHARE THE POINT OF VIEW

The University of Da Nang - University of Economics held a conference for students of the year 2018 - 2019 on 7 Nov 2018. The conference was honored to welcome the delegates: Master Nguyen Duc Tien- Head of Student Affairs of Da Nang University and the school's management board representative, leadership of faculties, divisions, centers attached to the University; teachers and monitors,secretaries of all classes represented for 11,000 students.

Speaking at opening the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Ph.D. Dao Huu Hoa - vice principal of the University of Da Nang - University of Economics confirmed that the conference is a forum for students to exchange their opinions and aspirations in all fields such as studying, organizing their life and social activities. Through the conference, the school managing board suggested all students to promote collective wisdom together and bring new ideas and new solutions to improve our university.

At the conference, Master Tran Quoc Hung - Head of the Student Affairs Department has informed summary report in 2017-2018 and the program of school year 2018 - 2019. In particular, in the last year, the university has successfully implemented about teaching political ideology, ethics, lifestyle for students through many activities such as: Citizen Week; meetings, sharing with experts, scientists, enterprises; Blood Donation, Spring Pick, Green Sunday; DUE's got talent ... Besides that, the regimes and policies for students are also implemented effectively, supporting and helping students who have difficulty to go to school. Last year, many DUE students reach out to the world like as student exchange through the scholarship from the UK, Germany, Japan, the United States, New Zealand, Ireland and have many chances for starting up such as Startup Runway, Ecofest 2018, Startup Wheel …
Promoting the achievements of the year 2017-2018, teachers and students of the University of Da Nang - University of Economics try our best to fulfill the mission in all fields of work in 2018 - 2019: Teaching surely about political ideas for students; Promoting the work of ensuring political security, social and safety; Continuing the AUN-QA standards assessment for training disciplines; Intensifing the promotion of enrollment under the joint training schemes with universities in the world; Continuing to consolidate and build the network of alumni associations in localities on the basis of Associations and Branches.

In order to encourage the students' achievements in the last school year, the school managing board also presented certificates for 19 students who have completed the tasks of the school year 2017-2018.

Continuing the conference is the presentation and explanation of the students' opinions took place excitingly in the open air, democracy. Some problems raised by students such as improving the service for students; upgraded lecture halls, facilities, equipment for learning; develop a more practical curriculum; questions about tuition fees, exchange of foreign language certificates, extracurricular learning outcomes for students; In addition, many students have "donated" to improve the quality of training, fostering skills for students, and help the school to save cost and time when implement activities.

All of the issues have been resolved thoroughly by the the school managing board as well as transferred to the department heads and centers for relevant questions. Through the conference, the link between the school and students will be increasingly tightened, aiming at building the learning environment and living with the best conditions for students.
