A meaningful mid-autumn festival for DUE staff’s children

Within the joyful Mid-autumn Festival, in the evening of 22nd, September, the Trade Union of University of Economics held the event “A joyful Mid-autumn Festival” with the participation of children of DUE staff.
The event “A joyful Mid-autumn Festival” included many meaningful activities, such as Mid-autumn Masks Decoration Contest, celebrating the Mid-autumn Festival Eve with drums and lion dances. In the mask decoration contest, the children were excited to decorate the masks with their favorite colors. The colorful masks reflected the playfulness and creativity of children. The Trade Union also gave presents to the masks with the most choices.

The solidarity and decisiveness of all children and parents were reflected in the game “Celebrating Mid-autumn Festival Eve with drums.” The children had his/ her eyes covered, and the parents had to carry them on the back so that they can hit the drums. Though the game was not easy, the children and parents co-operated tightly to complete their mission. This game delivered the children and parents with many unforgettable moments.
The highlight of the event was the lion dances. Along with the exciting drumbeat, the lion dance group – Phuoc Nguyen Duong attracted all the audience with risky dance on high collars. The children were excited by the wonderful dances and flares.
The event “A Joyful Mid-autumn Festival” left behind many impressive moments and brought the children of DUE staff with joy and useful experiences. This is a meaningful activity for the children to enjoy a delightful Mid-autumn Festival, reflecting the Trade Union’s caring for DUE staff’s children.
