Welcome college of Technical Savannakhet

In the afternoon of January 29th 2018, University of Economics – the University of Danang warmly welcomed the visiting of College of Technical Savannakhet, which was lead by Mr. Vongsavanh Viengmani – Rector and more than 20 staffs and representative of departments. Representative of University of Economics – the University of Danang were Assoc. Prof. Dao Huu Hoa – Vice Rector and representative of departments and faculties.

 

At the opening of meeting, representatives of two institutions had a general introduction about mission, vision and advantages of its university in academic field. University of Economics is a member of University of Danang, one of the top universities in training economics and business administration in the Middle of Vietnam. DUE has 17 academic majors, some new majors have a strong connection with economic mobility. DUE now has serveral abroad students from Laos and always create great conditions for Laos’s students to study in Vietnam. The University is constructing a new cutting-edge accommodation for Laos’s students. Besides, in the spirit of friendly relations between Laos and Vietnam, the University of Economics also established a network of cooperation with many educational institutions in Laos and has many scholarships, computer support, curriculum for partners here.

Stated at the meeting, representative of College of Technical Savannakhet had an introduction, which is parallel to majors of DUE such as economics, accounting, commerce … and would like to cooperate with DUE in diverse fields like student exchange, university bridge training, post-graduate training and improving staff’s ability program… The meeting was very convenient when cooperation issues were aprroved and representative of both institution stated that its function departments will have a deeper discussion to sign a MOU in a near future.

At the end of meeting, Mr. Vongsavanh Viengmani sent wishes to staffs of DUE on the occasion of the Lunnar New Year of Vietnam and hope both institutions will meet each other in term of upcoming projects.
