More than 100 DUE Students Join “Walk for Peace” Program

On the morning of April 7, 2026, 120 students from the University of Economics enthusiastically joined the “Walk for Peace” program as part of the 2026 Quan The Am Festival - Ngu Hanh Son in Da Nang. The meaningful activity aimed to spread the message of peace, solidarity and friendship among nations, while also promoting the image of Da Nang as a friendly and hospitable city.
Students from the University of Economics representing various countries, including Laos, China, Japan and South Korea, wore the program’s shared colors and joined the walking route through streets in the Ngu Hanh Son area in an atmosphere of excitement, unity and purpose.
Beyond expressing a spirit of peace, the program also provided an opportunity for international students to interact and connect with the local community, while learning more about the culture and people of Da Nang and Vietnam. Through the event, University of Economics students continued to affirm their role as “cultural ambassadors,” contributing to the development of a friendly, dynamic and humane international learning environment.
Participation in the “Walk for Peace” program also reflected the university’s commitment to supporting international students by creating opportunities for them to gain meaningful experiences beyond the classroom, while spreading positive values throughout the community.
