Strengthening Cooperation with the University of Graz (Austria)

University of Economics - The University of Danang recently held a meeting with Dr. Christian Hirt, Vice Head of the Department of Human Resource Management at the School of Business, Economics and Social Sciences, University of Graz (Austria), to discuss opportunities for academic collaboration and enhance connections in the field of human resource management.
Attending the meeting were representatives from the Faculty of Business Administration and the Office of Science and International Cooperation. Both sides exchanged views on the Erasmus+ program and discussed potential directions for collaboration in research, teaching, and academic exchange among faculty members and students in the coming time.

During his visit, Dr. Christian Hirt also delivered an academic seminar featuring two topics: “Navigating Cross-Cultural Challenges in HR: Austria - Vietnam” and “Developing Intercultural Sensitivity: Learning from Cultural Standards”. The presentations analyzed challenges in human resource management within multicultural contexts, while also sharing experiences and approaches to developing intercultural sensitivity in international working environments.
