Le Thi Minh Huyen - Student of course 42K03.1-CLC - Department of Tourism - University of Economics - University of Danang is a DUE student honored to be awarded the "January Star" prize by the Central Association of Vietnamese Students in 2019, and at the same time, she is one of 4 young students of the University of Economics received the title of "Students of merits" at the Central level for outstanding achievements in learning and training.

Right from being in high school, Minh Huyen is a typical student in learning and activities of Hoang Dieu High School - Dien Ban Town - Quang Nam Province. When entering the lecture hall of Da Nang University of Economics, Huyen has more and more opportunities to express herself and satisfy her passion for Union activities. Currently, Huyen is a senior student of the Faculty of Tourism - University of Economics. During 4 years at the school, Huyen is a hard-working student with a spirit of learning, striving and possessing remarkable academic achievements. Particularly for the 2018-2019 school year, Huyen's average training score was 97/100, ranked excellent; Huyen's average learning score was 3.94 / 4.0, excellent rank, thanks to this achievement, Huyen received certificates of merit from the President of Da Nang University and Rector of University of Economics for outstanding achievements. excellence in learning and training in the school year 2018 - 2019; receive fulltime System & Bridge Company scholarships for the academic year 2018 - 2019; Participated and won the award at the "Connecting ideas for entrepreneurship" in 2018. Huyen happily confided: "When I heard my name when the Student Council of the school announced that I received the January Star and the Student Award 5 good at the same time, I was really surprised and very happy. This is a great honor in the student life that I have tried to study and participate in the Union activities for many years ”.

When referring to the reason for choosing the Tourism & Tourism Business Administration at the University of Economics, she cheerfully said: “Before that, I went to the University's fanpage to learn about the University's information and activities. , I realize that University of Economics has a very enthusiastic and highly qualified lecturer; The scholarship policy of the school is very good and I will have many opportunities to attend exchange programs and seminars for students, so I am determined to enter this long-standing school ”.

Balancing between studying and participating in activities is not easy, but for 4 years studying at the school, Huyen has a good role as Deputy Secretary of the Union of Tourism Faculty, a member of the Executive Board of the Tourism Club - Tourism Faculty 2017 - 2018. When asked why she decided to become a Union official and stick to the Union work in Economic University, Huyen shared: “If learning will equip themselves with knowledge, the Union activities helped me to develop life skills. The interesting thing is to help me become more active, brave and more confident. Days of volunteering, I see the dedication with my spirit, responsibility and all my heart. I hope that my small actions will more or less contribute to supporting the community and society”.

Perhaps, the titles and awards that Minh Huyen achieved in Union - Association activities, extracurricular activities, volunteering, typically in which the "January Star" award at the central level is the driving force for her enthusiasm with the union’s work at the University of Economics. After each program, each volunteer trip, Huyen found that: “I have the opportunity to train and grow more when I realize my strengths and weaknesses. Huyen also share about future plans, career aspirations: “The plans for the far future are still cherished in my heart so I have not boldly shared. I'm happy".
