OVERVIEW OF MASTER’S PROGRAMME IN DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS (RESEARCH AND APPLICATION ORIENTATION)

Since its establishment in 2015, the Master's Program in Economic Management has successfully educated and graduated over 500 students. This comprehensive program is specifically designed to empower our learners to realize their ambition of mastering the vast body of knowledge within the field of Economic Management.

This program operates under credit-based system, requiring the completion of 60 credits which includes general knowledge blocks, major – specific knowledge blocks, and specialized knowledge blocks. The teaching framework features a flexible roadmap, allowing students to plan their own studies and complete the program within 1.5 to 2 years.

Evolving from our general training objectives, the Master's Program in Economic Management has developed two distinct and essential tracks: the Research-Oriented Track and the Application-Oriented Track.

The Master's Program in Economic Management - Research-Oriented Track: provide learners with deep, broad, and advanced theoretical knowledge regarding Economic Management issues, relevant interdisciplinary knowledge, and to significantly enhance their research capabilities. It equips learners with the skills to communicate research-based knowledge through presentation and discussion, and the ability to conduct research on Economic Management issues at the national, local, regional, sectoral, and socio-economic organizational levels, in order to enable graduates to provide expert conclusions in the field of economic management.

The Master's Program in Development Economics - Application-Oriented Track: provide learners with practical, real-world knowledge of economic management, relevant interdisciplinary studies, and a heightened capacity for practical application. It helps learners acquire the skills to scientifically analyze, synthesize, and evaluate data and information to propose effective solutions for practical economic management problems. Graduates are proficient in developing, assessing, and improving professional activities in economic management across national, local, regional, sectoral, and socio-economic organizational levels.
