  • INTRODUCTION ABOUT CURRICULUM

    The Bachelor's program in Economics was established in 1991 with the aim of equipping students with knowledge and skills to analyze, plan, organize, and implement economic and social development policies.

    A Bachelor's degree in Economics provides a solid foundation for students to work in economic and social organizations at various levels: national, sectoral, regional, local (provinces, districts, communes), international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and economic entities across all sectors. Graduates are expected to adhere to professional ethics, possess computer and language skills, and have the knowledge and skills to adapt to the rapid changes in the modern economic environment and the lifelong learning objectives.

    The program in Economics equips students with the necessary competencies to understand and engage in the development process within a dynamic economic environment. The program is designed to help students acquire the following knowledge, skills, and attitudes (PO): After 3 to 5 years of graduation, Economics students will be able to:

    - Become economic experts in the field of economics at the national, local, regional, sectoral and organizational levels.

    - Having the necessary skills to adapt to the changing working environment.

    - Consciously complying with social standards, professional ethics, and social responsibility.

    CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

    Graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Economics can qualify for employment positions in various organizations, agencies, and businesses, including:

    - Government agencies responsible for socio-economic management at the central and local levels (ministries, departments, boards, committees, people's committees, functional departments, etc.).

    - Management boards of development programs, projects, and development organizations.

    - Multilateral organizations such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and non-governmental organizations.

    - Business organizations in the majors of economics, natural resource economics, investment, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises.
