University of Economics Honors Two Retiring Lecturers

On August 3, 2026, the University of Economics - The University of Danang held a meeting to express gratitude to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Binh (Lecturer, Faculty of Economics) and MSc. Ngo Xuan Thuy (Lecturer, Faculty of Business Administration), who are retiring in accordance with State regulations. This occasion allowed the university to extend its heartfelt appreciation to both lecturers for their many years of dedication to education, reflecting the tradition of valuing the contributions of generations of staff and employees to the university’s sustainable development.

Speaking at the gathering, Prof. Le Van Huy, Rector of the university, expressed his gratitude for the contributions of the two lecturers throughout their careers. The Rector emphasized that Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Binh and MSc. Ngo Xuan Thuy not only helped build the academic foundation and trained generations of students but were also devoted educators who have always accompanied the university’s development through many stages. The values, experience, and sense of responsibility they leave behind will continue to be inherited and promoted by future generations of staff and lecturers.

Moved by the moment marking the end of his career, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Binh shared: “The most precious thing I have gained after 40 years is the companionship of colleagues, the opportunity to impart knowledge to generations of students, and witnessing the university’s growth. Although I am retiring, I will always follow and be ready to contribute to the university’s development".

MSc. Ngo Xuan Thuy also expressed his emotions: “I treasure the affection and bond of my colleagues and generations of students over the past 37 years. These will always be beautiful and proud memories".

The meeting took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere, reflecting the respect of the university community for those who have devoted their hearts and minds to education.
