Sahmyook University Delegation Engages in Academic Exchange at DUE

On July 13, 2026, the University of Economics - the University of Danang welcomed a delegation of faculty members and students from Sahmyook University (South Korea) for an academic exchange and international cooperation program. The event marks a significant opportunity for Vietnamese and Korean students to study together, exchange academic perspectives, collaborate in international groups, and develop practical knowledge in business, entrepreneurship, information technology, and digital communications.

The two institutions will conduct joint activities from July 13 to July 17, 2026, with the participation of faculty and 30 students from both universities. The program focuses on academic exchanges, discussions, presentations, and group-based learning to enhance global entrepreneurship capabilities and skills for working in an international environment. Concurrently, the “IT Projects: Social Connect” initiative runs until July 24, designed to help students apply digital tools, artificial intelligence, and creative communication skills to real-world projects.

In his welcoming remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector of the University of Economics - the University of Danang, underscored the significance of such cooperative programs in promoting the internationalization of education, fostering a multicultural learning environment, and connecting students from both nations through academic, research, and practical experience activities.

Professor Chul-Ju Park, faculty member of the School of Business Administration, Sahmyook University (South Korea), expressed his belief that friendships forged during this program will serve as strong bridges connecting the future of South Korea and Vietnam. According to Professor Park, despite coming from different countries, both institutions share the mission of nurturing future leaders through education, research, and international collaboration. He hopes the program will not only facilitate academic exchange but also provide a foundation for students of both nations to build friendships, broaden global perspectives, and develop the capacity to address real-world challenges.
