Four Years, One Journey - Eight Consecutive Semesters of Scholarships
25/06/2026
Some values cannot be measured in numbers. For DUE students, a scholarship is not only a reward for academic achievement but also a gesture of understanding, sharing, and trust that the university places in the younger generation. Eight consecutive semesters of scholarships mark eight semesters of beautiful stories being written.
It is especially meaningful that these outstanding scholarship recipients are also among the new graduates this term, carrying with them knowledge, resilience, and well-deserved achievements after a journey of relentless effort.
Outstanding students receive scholarships for all 8 semesters over 4 years at DUE
From the very first expectations
Ho Thi Thuy Duong (Class 48K22.1, Faculty of E-commerce) was among the students awarded a talent scholarship at enrollment thanks to her outstanding entry achievements. For Duong, the joy of being recognized also marked the beginning of a challenging journey.
“Being chosen from the start is the result of both competence and luck, but maintaining that achievement over four years requires effort, discipline, and an unwavering spirit,” Duong shared.
Looking back, what Duong cherishes most is the happiness of seeing her persistent efforts rewarded with a deserving outcome.
For Nguyen Thi Tra Vi (Class 48K33, Faculty of Finance), the scholarship has both material and spiritual significance. It not only eased the burden of tuition fees but also became a source of motivation to overcome challenging times during her studies.
“There were times when things didn’t go as planned. In those moments, reflecting on past achievements gave me the confidence to keep pushing forward,” Tra Vi said.
When the goal was set before entering university
Phan Thi Mai Ngoc (Class 48K28, Faculty of Marketing) revealed that she learned about the talent scholarship policy four years ago while researching admission information. “I was really impressed and promised myself that if I had the chance to become a DUE student, I would strive to be worthy of this meaningful policy.”
“When I actually received scholarships for all eight semesters, I felt my efforts had been truly recognized. That’s also a motivation to keep striving on the road ahead,” Ngoc shared.
Balancing academics and extracurricular activities
Pham Thi Thu Thuy (Class 48K32.1, Faculty of Economics) exemplifies students who not only maintain excellent academic records but also actively participate in scientific research, academic competitions, and entrepreneurship contests.
According to Thuy, success does not depend on where you start but on the process of building a solid foundation of abilities and persistently pursuing your goals. “When your foundation is strong enough, no barrier can defeat you".
The journey, not the destination
Nguyen Thanh Trung (Class 48K01.5, Faculty of International Business) sees four years at university as a process of setting and pursuing goals. For Trung, the value of a goal is not about guaranteed achievement, but about the direction it provides during one’s growth.
“A goal is not the ultimate destination, but what helps us know where we are headed", Trung shared.
A message to future generations of students
Before closing her university journey, Ha Le Thi Nhung (Class 48K17.1, Faculty of Business Administration) sent a message to future students: “Everyone has their own journey. Stay persistent with your goals, keep learning, and strive each day. Success may come early or late, but sincere efforts will always yield good results.”
Phan Anh Thu (Class 48K23.1, Faculty of Tourism) emphasized: believe in yourself and stay committed to your chosen goals. Success does not always require big leaps, but is built from small efforts maintained every day.
