Amid the pride of April’s historic days and under the sacred red flags of the Party and the Nation, the admission ceremony for 15 outstanding new Party members from the Student Party Cell was held with solemnity and emotion. As each member placed their hand on the Party flag and recited the oath, it marked a significant milestone in their journey of living, training, studying, and dedicating their youth.

Nguyen Ngoc Anh Thu, a student of class 49K09, Faculty of Political Theory, could not hide her emotions when officially joining the Party. “Being admitted to the Party while still a student is a tremendous honor. This is not only the result of my efforts but also a great motivation to live more responsibly and contribute more to the community. For me, it is a reminder to always uphold the ideals of a young Party member,” Thu shared.

Similarly, Nguyen Dinh Dung, a student of class 48K20, Faculty of Economics, said that the honor of joining the Party made him more aware of his responsibility for the country’s future. “Previously, I thought joining the Party was far out of reach. But through Youth Union activities, volunteer programs, and the guidance of teachers, I realized becoming a Party member is an opportunity to contribute more. I will strive to study, live responsibly, and spread positive energy to those around me,” Dung said.

In reality, many of the students admitted to the Party today are exemplary faces, outstanding individuals who have earned the title of “Five-Good Student,” achieved excellent results in scientific research and community activities, and have always played a core role in Youth Union and student association organizations.

According to Dr. Bui Trung Hiep, Secretary of the Student Party Cell, admitting outstanding students who meet all political, ethical, and academic standards is about preparing the next generation for the Party. Encouragingly, more and more students are proactively striving for Party admission. Understanding that Party membership is a responsibility and an opportunity to serve the nation, many students are determined to strive from their first year at university. Since 2021, the Party Cell has admitted 183 outstanding students.

The key to these notable results is the close attention of the Party Committee and the university’s Board of Management. The University of Economics identifies student Party development as a core task, assigning responsibilities to the Youth Union, faculty leaders, and the Student Party Cell. This coordinated approach has delivered clear results.

A highlight is the creation of a practical environment for students to grow. Each year, the Youth Union and Student Association, together with faculties, organize more than 350 extracurricular, volunteer, and scientific research programs. The university also implements practical support policies such as rewarding exemplary Party members and organizing Party admission ceremonies during the Green Summer volunteer campaign where political ideals are tied to practical action.

Notably, the Student Party Cell has established an organizational model with five functional groups: Party Development, Party Activity Records, Inspection and Supervision, Activities, and Communications. Embracing digital transformation, the Party Cell launched the website www.chibosinhvien.vn to innovate its methods and increase connectivity. The image of student Party members excelling in study and living beautifully is being widely spread.

According to Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh, Secretary of the University’s Party Committee, developing Party membership among students is not merely about increasing numbers, but about selecting and nurturing individuals with courage, social responsibility, and aspiration to contribute. Each student admitted to the Party today is a “red seed.” From lecture halls to volunteer campaigns, great ideals are being sown, contributing to building a generation of young intellectuals who are both virtuous and talented, and dedicated to serving the nation.
