DUE Lecturer Attends Erasmus International Teaching Week in Romania, Strengthens Global Academic Connections

From April 20 to April 24, 2026, Dr. Nguyen Quang Minh Nhi, a lecturer at the Faculty of Finance, University of Economics (DUE), participated in the 2nd Erasmus International Teaching Week at West University of Timisoara, Romania.
The event brought together a large number of lecturers, researchers, and educational experts from various European and Asian countries, providing a platform for academic exchange, sharing of teaching experiences, and fostering international collaboration in higher education.
During the program, Dr. Nguyen Quang Minh Nhi attended the opening session, which featured introductions to West University of Timisoara and the UNITA European Alliance. Alongside academic activities, participants engaged in networking events and cultural tours of Timisoara, further strengthening cross-cultural and academic understanding among international delegates.
A highlight of the week was the teaching and professional exchange sessions with professors from the partner university’s Finance department. Through a series of in-depth working sessions, Dr. Nguyen Quang Minh Nhi shared teaching experiences and gained insights into modern training methods within an international educational environment.
In addition to teaching activities, the DUE lecturer took part in several academic workshops addressing current issues in higher education, such as the integration of Living Labs in education, Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in universities.
These workshops not only offered new perspectives on innovative teaching methods but also contributed to promoting open educational thinking, strengthening the connection between teaching, research, and real-world practice in the context of global digital transformation.
The program also facilitated opportunities for international lecturers to expand their academic networks, seek research collaboration, student exchanges, and develop future joint training projects.
At the close of the 2nd Erasmus International Teaching Week, delegates attended a summary session to review the outcomes and discuss future directions for cooperation among member higher education institutions.
