The University of Economics Announces and Confers Professor and Associate Professor Appointments in 2025

On the morning of January 5, 2026, the University of Economics - University of Danang solemnly held a conference to announce and confer decisions on the appointment and reappointment of Professors and Associate Professors for 2025, recognizing the outstanding contributions of faculty members to education and scientific research.
At the ceremony, the University of Economics officially announced and conferred Professor appointments upon two distinguished academics: Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy - President of the University of Economics, and Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh - Secretary of the Party Committee of the University. These appointments represent recognition of their long-term dedication and significant contributions to teaching, research, and the strategic development of the University.

On the same occasion, the University also announced and conferred Associate Professor appointments in Economics to four faculty members:
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Phuoc Vu - Head of the Planning and Finance Office
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Cuong - Vice Dean, Faculty of Accounting
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thai Thi Hong An - Lecturer, Faculty of Finance
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Hai - Lecturer, Faculty of Business Administration

In addition, three faculty members - Dang Tung Lam, Dang Huu Man, and Tran Trung Vinh - were reappointed as Associate Professors, reaffirming their academic prestige and continued leadership roles in teaching and disciplinary development at the University.

Speaking at the conference, newly appointed Professor Le Van Huy emphasized that being appointed or reappointed as Professor or Associate Professor is not only a personal honor but also a responsibility to further enhance training quality, strengthen scientific research, and contribute to the overall development of higher education.

As of December 2025, the University’s academic staff comprises 318 lecturers, including 05 Professors, 28 Associate Professors, 115 PhDs, and 170 Master’s degree holders. Strengthening and expanding the Professor and Associate Professor cohort is a key step in the University’s strategy to develop high-quality human resources, enhance academic reputation, and improve competitiveness amid profound transformations in higher education.
