Workshop “International Journal Publication and Research Methodology”: Sharing Experiences from Renowned International Scholars

With the aim of enhancing research capacity and promoting international publication activities, on December 18, 2025, the University of Economics - University of Danang organized the workshop titled “International Journal Publication and Research Methodology”, featuring the participation of renowned scholars from leading universities around the world.

The program welcomed distinguished speakers, including Associate Professor Linh Pham (Lake Forest University, USA), Professor Do Xuan Hung (Massey University, New Zealand), and Professor Dayong Zhang (Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, China). The workshop attracted a large number of lecturers, doctoral candidates, and students interested in scientific research and international publication.

During the workshop, the speakers shared practical experiences in selecting research topics, developing research frameworks, data collection and methodological approaches, as well as strategies for writing and submitting manuscripts to reputable international academic journals. Key criteria of Scopus-indexed journals and effective approaches to responding to reviewers’ and editorial boards’ comments were also highlighted.

In addition to the presentations, the workshop devoted significant time to open discussions and direct exchanges. Lecturers and students raised numerous questions regarding the selection of appropriate journals, research trends in ESG, CSR, and sustainable finance, as well as the impact of artificial intelligence on research activities.

The workshop was a highly practical initiative that contributed to improving the quality of research outputs and promoting international publication activities among lecturers, doctoral candidates, and students of the University of Economics - University of Da Nang in the coming period.
