On December 8, 2025, the University of Economics - University of Da Nang (DUE) organized the Conference of Representatives of Officials and Employees for the academic year 2025-2026. The Conference was honored to welcome Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Member of the Da Nang Party Committee and Director of the University of Da Nang, along with representatives of political and social organizations, offices, and functional departments of the University of Da Nang. The Conference was also attended by Prof. Dr. Truong Ba Thanh, Former Vice Director of the University of Da Nang and Former Rector of the University of Economics. Representing DUE were Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy, Rector of the University; Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the University Council; Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh, Vice Rector and Chairwoman of the University Trade Union; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector, together with leaders of offices, faculties, centers, and representatives of officials and employees of the University.
At the Conference, delegates conducted a comprehensive review of the outcomes of the 2024-2025 academic year, highlighting significant breakthroughs and developments in training quality, scientific research, digital transformation, human resource development, and the optimization of operational efficiency across units. Open, responsible, and dedicated contributions from the Conference played an important role in clearly defining orientations and key targets for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh also presented the report on the activities of the University Council in 2025. The Conference further reviewed reports on the implementation of the Resolution of the Conference of Officials and Employees for the 2024-2025 academic year, the implementation of democratic regulations at the University, inspection activities during the 2024-2025 academic year, and the University’s financial report for 2024.

Delivering his directive remarks at the Conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu highly appreciated the contributions of the University of Economics to the overall development of the University of Da Nang, while emphasizing the University’s pioneering role in implementing strategic missions in training, research, and community service. He called on the University to continue upholding its 50-year tradition, maintaining a strong spirit of innovation, affirming its institutional identity, accelerating digital transformation, building a standardized academic environment, and strengthening international integration, thereby making increasingly practical contributions to the development of Da Nang City and the region.

At the Conference, delegates unanimously voted to approve the targets for the 2025–2026 academic year, including targets related to training, scientific research and international cooperation, organizational development and staff training, facilities development, testing and quality assurance, emulation and commendation, and financial management.

The Conference called upon all trade union members, officials, and employees to unite, innovate, and actively participate in emulation movements launched by the Board of Rectors and the Executive Committee of the University Trade Union, striving to successfully accomplish the political tasks of the 2025-2026 academic year, effectively implement the Resolution of the Conference of Officials and Employees of the University of Economics, and elevate the University to a new level of development.
