28/11/2025

On the morning of November 28, 2025, alumni from the 87K cohort awarded 10 scholarships totaling 100 million VND to students of the University of Economics – University of Đà Nẵng who are facing financial difficulties. This meaningful activity reflects the spirit of gratitude, community responsibility, and the strong bond between generations of the university’s students and alumni.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Tan Vui – representative of the 87K cohort and former student of class 87K6 - shared: “These scholarships are not only financial support but also a sincere encouragement to students who are striving to overcome challenges in their studies. We hope the scholarships will give you greater confidence, help you continue working hard, and soon achieve your goals.”

For many years, University of Economics alumni have maintained the tradition of giving back to their alma mater and supporting current students through practical and deeply humanitarian initiatives.

On behalf of the university, Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh – Vice Rector – expressed profound gratitude for this noble gesture and hoped that today’s scholarship ceremony would inspire more alumni generations to continue this tradition. The university always remembers and deeply appreciates the invaluable companionship of its alumni in the cause of education and student development. Dr. Hạnh expressed confidence that these scholarships will serve as strong motivation for the recipients to study and train even harder. She encouraged the students to treasure this meaningful gift, turn today’s support into the foundation for their future efforts, and one day return to continue the beautiful tradition established by previous generations.

At the ceremony, representatives of the 87K alumni personally presented the 10 scholarships to students who, despite difficult circumstances, have shown outstanding effort and achieved excellent academic results.

Representing the scholarship recipients, Ms. Chung Thi Hai Yen (class 48K02.2) sincerely thanked the alumni and the university for their care and encouragement. She promised that the recipients would use the scholarships properly, continue to study diligently, live responsibly, and contribute to society in a way that lives up to the trust placed in them by their teachers and alumni. In the future, when they have grown further, they also hope to carry forward this spirit by supporting the university and younger generations of students.

Following the ceremony, the 87K alumni engaged in an informal exchange with current students, sharing valuable career experiences in the context of digital transformation and the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI). These discussions provided students with practical insights into the job market and the essential skills they need to develop in the coming years.
