November of Gratitude (Part 3): The Young Flame - Passion Burning Bright on the DUE Campus
17/11/2025
Amid the bold transformation of the University of Economics, University of Da Nang, a new generation of young lecturers is bringing fresh energy, helping shape a vibrant, modern, and lively image for the university. Among those quietly kindling the flame of passion day after day is MSc. Huynh Thuy Yen Khue - lecturer at the Faculty of Finance and Deputy Secretary of the DUE Youth Union - a shining example of dedication, wholehearted commitment to teaching, and unwavering care for students.
From the perspective of someone deeply involved in Youth Union activities, Ms Khue shared: “At DUE, the role of lecturers goes far beyond imparting knowledge. We are guides and sources of inspiration on each student’s journey to maturity. Lecturers always bring positive energy, a progressive spirit, and genuine empathy to our students. It is this closeness, companionship, and willingness to share that help DUE students become more confident, find their direction, live responsibly, and dare to chase their dreams".
Having devoted nearly ten years to Youth Union work, Ms Khue has witnessed and lived through countless memorable moments “behind the scenes” alongside young lecturers who take on Union and association responsibilities: endless planning meetings for student events; late nights meticulously editing scripts and polishing every poster; weekends spent setting aside personal time to run programmes side-by-side with students. These simple yet profound images best illustrate the devotion and deep affection that lecturers hold for their students - the kind of love that is rarely seen from the spotlight on stage.
In an era of constant educational innovation, Ms Khue hopes that the teacher-student relationship at DUE will grow ever more open, friendly, and truly two-way. Lecturers will not only teach knowledge but also walk alongside students as mentors, guides, and inspirers; students, in turn, will proactively learn, create, and radiate positive energy back. When both sides grow together, that relationship becomes an unbreakable bond – the unique hallmark of DUE, a place where knowledge and human values shine equally bright.
On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, 20 November, Ms Huỳnh Thùy Yên Khuê extends her deepest gratitude to all DUE lecturers – those who silently dedicate themselves to the cause of education and the growth of every student. In particular, she wishes to thank the young lecturers engaged in Youth Union work, who have chosen to reach students through passion, dynamism, and love for their profession. “May you forever keep the flame of enthusiasm burning bright and find joy in every step of the journey alongside your students.”
