Strengthening university-government linkage in policy consultation for the development of the International Financial Center in Da Nang

The University of Economics - University of Danang is pleased to congratulate Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Tung Lam on being entrusted and elected as Deputy Director in charge of the Strategy and Synthesis Division of the Executive Authority of the International Financial Center of Vietnam in Da Nang.

In this position, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Tung Lam continues his teaching and research at the University of Economics - University of Danang, while also contributing to the Executive Authority of the International Financial Center of Vietnam in Da Nang in strategic advisory, policy consultation, and coordination activities.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Tung Lam has been entrusted and elected as Deputy Director in charge of the Strategy and Synthesis Division of the Executive Authority of the International Financial Center of Vietnam in Da Nang.

The appointment of a scholar and university leader from the University of Economics - University of Danang to the leadership team of the Executive Authority of the International Financial Center of Vietnam in Da Nang demonstrates the increasingly strong linkage between the city government and higher education institutions in the formulation and implementation of major local and national development programs.

Through this role, the University of Economics - University of Danang is able to participate more deeply in policy advisory, consultation, and feedback processes, while connecting its research groups, experts, and academic resources with the Da Nang People’s Committee and the Executive Authority of the International Financial Center of Vietnam in Da Nang. This provides an important foundation for cooperation in areas such as the development of financial center strategies, the design of special regulatory and policy mechanisms, high-quality human resource training, and the alignment of scientific research with practical governance and management needs.

The International Financial Center of Vietnam in Da Nang was officially inaugurated and began operations on January 9, 2026, located at Software Park No. 2, and is directly managed and operated by the Executive Authority of the International Financial Center of Vietnam in Da Nang.
