Promoting Fire Prevention, Firefighting, and Rescue Training in the University

In anticipation of the 64th anniversary of the Firefighting Police Force’s Traditional Day (4/10/1961 - 4/10/2025) and the 24th National Fire Prevention and Fighting Day (4/10/2001 - 4/10/2025), on 04/10/2025, the University of Economics - University of Da Nang, in collaboration with the Fire Prevention, Firefighting, and Rescue Department of the Da Nang City Police, organized a training session to promote fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue skills for the university’s staff and employees.
Resource Persons Share Knowledge on Fire Prevention, Firefighting, and Rescue
During the program, resource persons provided fundamental knowledge on fire prevention, guidance on using initial firefighting equipment, and techniques for safely escaping in smoky or fiery conditions. They also analyzed notable fire incidents to draw lessons and experiences.
Training on Basic Firefighting and Rescue Skills for University Staff
A highlight of the event was the practical training session on firefighting and rescue, conducted in collaboration with the Area 3 Firefighting and Rescue Team and the university’s firefighting team. This session actively engaged staff and employees, allowing them to practice handling real-life scenarios and hone their operational skills.
Staff and Employees Practice Using On-Site Fire Extinguishers Under Expert Guidance
A simulated fire and explosion scenario was organized to train participants in safe evacuation techniques.
This activity significantly enhanced awareness and equipped staff and employees with essential skills to respond to emergencies, thereby ensuring the safety of lives and property for themselves and the community.
