Academic Exchange with the Japan Society for Distributive Sciences (JSDS)

On September 9, 2025, the University of Economics – University of Danang held an academic exchange with the Japan Society for Distributive Sciences (JSDS). The program aimed to strengthen research collaboration, share knowledge, and expand academic networking opportunities between Vietnamese and Japanese scholars in the fields of Marketing and E-Commerce.

Representing JSDS were professors and lecturers with extensive experience in research and teaching. From the University of Economics, participants included leaders of the Office of Science and International Cooperation, the Faculty of Marketing, and the Faculty of E-Commerce, along with lecturers from the two faculties.

During the meeting, participants exchanged a variety of academic insights on topics such as modern distribution trends, consumer behavior in the digital era, technological applications in e-commerce, and interdisciplinary research directions connecting Marketing - Distribution - Technology. Both sides also discussed potential collaboration in co-organizing scientific conferences, publishing joint research, and implementing faculty and student exchange programs.

The exchange opened up many promising prospects for practical cooperation, contributing to the promotion of international academic integration, while affirming the growing prestige and position of the University of Economics – University of Danang within the global education and research network.
