Citizen - Student Orientation Week for 51K Freshmen: Essential Preparation for DUE Freshmen on Their New Journey

Amid the vibrant atmosphere celebrating the new academic year 2025-2026, the University of Economics - University of Da Nang organizes the Citizen - Student Orientation Week for 51K freshmen, admitted in 2025, starting from September 8, 2025.


The program is designed to welcome and guide freshmen while providing essential information about the university’s mission and development goals for the new academic year.


Dr. Bùi Trung Hiệp, Acting Head of the Student Affairs, Business Relations, and Communications Department, shares the orientation for 51K freshmen.

From September 8 to 13, freshmen will engage in practical and informative sessions. They will be introduced to academic regulations, scholarship policies, administrative procedures, and equipped with legal knowledge related to traffic safety, cybersecurity, and military service obligations. The program also focuses on raising awareness about preventing social vices and fostering a safe, healthy campus environment. Additionally, activities include initial health check-ups, completing enrollment documents, and developing digital skills for learning, such as effectively utilizing online portals, resources, AI applications, data management, and information security.

The program offers opportunities for students to develop soft skills such as presentation, slide design, entrepreneurship, and innovation, while connecting with “Outstanding 5-Good Students,” learning about Youth Union and Student Association activities, academic competitions, and extracurricular programs. Notably, each faculty will host welcome sessions to introduce academic programs, study methods, and foster a cohesive environment to help freshmen quickly integrate into the new learning community.
