Strengthening Cooperation and Expanding Student Exchange Opportunities Between NEU and DUE

On July 20, 2025, the “Conference on reviewing student exchange programs between the National Economics University (NEU) and the University of Economics - University of Danang (DUE)” was held with the participation of the leadership teams from both institutions and heads of relevant departments.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy, Rector of the University of Economics - University of Danang, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from NEU. He affirmed that the student exchange program has become a highlight in the strong partnership between the two leading institutions in the field of Economics and Business Administration.

At the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector of DUE, presented a report summarizing the student exchange activities, highlighting several advantages:

- Both universities have similar curricula in Economics and Business Administration, with compatible teaching methods that facilitate the design of an aligned exchange program. This ensures students can resume their academic paths without disruption upon returning.

- Effective coordination between departments such as Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and the Office of Corporate Relations & Communications has supported students both academically and in extracurricular activities.

However, the report also pointed out some challenges that need to be addressed, such as Inconsistent class and exam schedules between the two institutions, which limit the number of participating students; Communication and consultation about the program with students, which are not yet conducted regularly and lack consistency.

Leaders of both universities engaged in discussions, sharing suggestions and future orientations to elevate the cooperation program, particularly by expanding academic exchanges, joint research initiatives, and both short- and long-term study programs.

Both universities exchanged commemorative gifts, reaffirming their commitment to accompanying and further developing this comprehensive partnership, creating meaningful value for learners and the academic community.
