On July 10, 2025, the campus of the University of Economics - University of Danang (DUE) came alive with the 9th Annual Student Job Fair, one of the largest-scale events of its kind, featuring the participation of more than 100 enterprises and offering over 8,000 job vacancies for students and job seekers.
The event was jointly organized by the University of Economics - University of Danang, the Department of Home Affairs of Danang City, and the Danang Young Entrepreneurs Association, with the aim of connecting recruiters with students and job seekers across the city.

Delivering the opening remarks, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Danang City, emphasized the effectiveness of organizing job fairs and recruitment sessions since 2015. She highlighted their impact in connecting students and workers with employers, thus contributing to the city’s goal of “Employment for All” as part of the “3 Haves” city development program. After eight previous editions, the Job Fair has proven highly successful, with a continuously increasing number of participants receiving career advice and securing employment - both in quantity and quality.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy, Rector of the University of Economics, reaffirmed that the Job Fair remains a key initiative in the university’s mission to strengthen cooperation between academia, government bodies, civil society, and the business sector. The significant increase in participating enterprises and the wide range of job opportunities this year underscore the program’s reputation and its growing role in supporting social welfare, raising income levels, and fostering local economic development.

This year’s fair welcomed 185 enterprises, with over 100 conducting on-site interviews, and 80 others entrusting their recruitment to the Danang Employment Service Center. In total, 8,131 job positions were offered, including 2,297 positions for postgraduates and university graduates, 2,315 positions for college and vocational school graduates, and the remainder for technical workers and general laborers. Throughout the day, many students enthusiastically engaged with employers, sought career counseling, and experienced real-life interview scenarios.

A special highlight of the event was the Talk Show “Innovative Thinking - The Foundation for Student Entrepreneurship”, which attracted a large student audience. The session provided a valuable opportunity for students to explore real-life career stories and receive insightful guidance on personal development from experienced entrepreneurs introduced by the Young Entrepreneurs Association.

The 9th Annual Student Job Fair served as an occasion for the University to evaluate and enhance its training quality, ensuring that its curriculum is closely aligned with real-world labor market needs, thereby boosting the employability and competitiveness of its graduates.
