On the morning of June 24, 2025, the University of Economics – The University of Danang warmly welcomed students from Busan University of Foreign Studies, South Korea for a cultural exchange visit. In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector of DUE, emphasized: “This is a valuable opportunity for students of both institutions to build lasting relationships and embark on a journey of discovery through cooperation and sharing.”

With thoughtful preparation and enthusiasm, DUE students painted a vivid portrait of a welcoming, dynamic Vietnam embracing global integration.

The cultural exchange enabled students from both countries to broaden their horizons, enhance adaptability, develop intercultural awareness, and cultivate essential global competencies - all crucial qualities for the workforce in today’s interconnected world.

Study Tour Schedule of Busan students at DUE:

-       Week 1 (June 23–29): Opening ceremony, Vietnamese language and cultural classes, sightseeing tour of Danang.

-       Week 2 (June 30 – July 6): Continued Vietnamese classes, traditional "Tò He" (toy figurine) crafting workshop, visit to KOTRA enterprise, excursions to Hoi An and My Son Sanctuary.

-       Week 3: Enterprise visit, special lecture on “Business Ethics in Vietnam through a STEM Education Lens”, round basket boating experience, and Vietnamese cooking class.

-       Week 4: Completion of Vietnamese language course, final testing and evaluation.

This exchange program promises to provide Busan University of Foreign Studies’ students with enriching experiences in Vietnamese culture, language, and society, while laying the foundation for a sustainable partnership between the two institutions in the years to come.
