On the afternoon of June 15, 2025, the Closing Ceremony of the 7th Sports Festival for Staff and Employees of the University of Danang took place in a vibrant and dignified atmosphere. As a recurring sporting event, the Festival attracted broad participation from faculty members, staff, and employees from all affiliated units of the University of Danang. This occasion served as a meaningful platform for exchange, learning, and fostering solidarity among the University’s community.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Phuc, Chairman of the University of Danang’s Trade Union, delivered the closing remarks of the Festival.
Earlier that same day, the final matches and award ceremonies for Table Tennis and Badminton took place. The University of Economics (DUE) sports delegation earned an impressive one Silver and two Bronze medals in Table Tennis, along with two Gold medals in Badminton.

In the overall results, the University of Economics delegation achieved an outstanding Second Place overall, with a total score of 110 points, marked by the following medal tally: 05 Gold Medals, 08 Silver Medals, and 02 Bronze Medals.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Director of the University of Danang, presented the overall team awards to the top-performing units.
This remarkable achievement continues to affirm the University of Economics' reputation and strong tradition of sportsmanship among its staff and employees, especially meaningful as the university approaches its 50th Anniversary Celebration. The excellent performance also highlights the university’s ongoing commitment to promoting physical activity, enriching the spiritual and recreational life of its staff, and fostering a dynamic, healthy workplace.
