On the afternoon of May 29, the Trade Union of the University of Economics – The University of Danang organized a celebration for International Children’s Day (June 1), along with a commendation and award ceremony for outstanding children of university staff who have achieved excellent academic results in the 2024–2025 school year. The event was attended by Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh – Vice Rector and Chairwoman of the University’s Trade Union, as well as a large number of children and parents from the university community.
In her remarks, Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh extended heartfelt congratulations to the children on behalf of the University Leadership Board, praising their dedication and accomplishments in their studies and personal development. She also wished all the children a joyful, meaningful summer filled with cherished memories.

In addition to the award ceremony, the children enthusiastically engaged in a creative fair designed and hosted by the university’s departmental trade unions. The vibrant space featured a variety of fun and stimulating activities such as statue painting, dart throwing, archery, and movement games, sparking creativity and excitement among the young participants.

The program also featured charming, homemade musical and dance performances by the children themselves. These delightful showcases filled the room with cheerful, innocent energy, reflecting the children’s artistic talents and joy.

On behalf of all the participating children, a student representative delivered sincere thanks to the University Board of Directors, the Trade Union, and teachers, expressing deep appreciation for organizing such a meaningful and joyful event. The student also expressed gratitude for the continued support and encouragement from the university and promised to study hard, stay well-disciplined, and become proud children of both their families and their parents’ beloved workplace.
