As part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany, the journey titled “The German career orientation bus - Carrying millions of dreams” officially arrived at the University of Economics - UDN on the morning of May 19. The program brought valuable opportunities for students to learn about training programs, educational paths, and career prospects in Germany, while also exploring German culture and advanced technology right in Vietnam.
In a spirited atmosphere, Mr. Santiago Alonso Rodriguez, Head of Development Cooperation at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Vietnam, delivered the opening remarks, marking the presence of the “German career orientation bus” in Da Nang – a dynamic city in Central Vietnam.

The opening ceremony became even more vibrant with an impressive musical performance by artists from Da Nang through the song “Va toi hat”, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere for the entire program.
By participating in the “German Career Orientation Bus” program, students and attendees had the chance to: experience a standard German career space right on a special career orientation bus; Join lively virtual reality activities simulating life, study, and work in Germany
; Learn about vocational training programs following German standards implemented in Vietnam; Interact with experts, businesses, and especially alumni who studied in Germany; Enjoy traditional German dishes such as sausages and explore the unique cultural traits of this European country.

Attendees received a “Passport to experience” at the organizers’ booth and were invited to participate in a series of meaningful activities such as: an introduction to the “Studying in Germany” program by DAAD; German culture classes from the Goethe-Institut; Minigames, exchanges, and the “Fun quiz about Germany,” where daily winners would be entered into a final prize draw at the end of the journey in November

The “German career orientation bus” at the University of Economics was not only an opportunity for students to access study and work opportunities in Germany, but also served as a strong bridge promoting cooperation between the two countries in the field of education and training. On the same day, the University of Economics had the honor of welcoming a delegation from the German Embassy in Hanoi for a working visit. The delegation included Mr. Santiago Rodriguez – Head of Development Cooperation, and Mr. Fabian Hartjes – Second Secretary in charge of Economics and Climate Policy. From the University of Danang, Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son – Vice President – was present. Representing the University of Economics were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh – Chairwoman of the University Council – along with heads of several academic units.
