Signing Ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between the University of Economics and Hanoi University of Industry: Strengthening Collaboration – Expanding Opportunities for Students

In order to enhance cooperation in training, scientific research, and broaden learning and experiential opportunities for students, the University of Economics – UDN and Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement on the morning of April 25.
Attending the ceremony, on behalf of Hanoi University of Industry were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Nga – Dean of the School of Economics; Dr. Vu Dinh Khoa – Vice Dean of the School of Economics, along with leaders of various departments. Representing the University of Economics – UDN were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh – Vice Rector of the University, and representatives of the following units: Training Department, Student Affairs Department, Department of Science & International Cooperation, Faculty of Finance, Faculty of Accounting, Faculty of E-Commerce, and Faculty of Marketing.

The collaboration with Hanoi University of Industry not only provides students with opportunities for learning and practical experiences but also lays the foundation for both institutions to develop joint programs, foster innovation, and transfer knowledge

The key contents of the cooperation agreement include training activities, student exchanges, and quality assurance in education. Specifically:
- Organizing student exchange programs between the two universities in various formats: Students will participate in study, internships, or research at the partner university for one semester. Additionally, the exchange program is also organized during summer vacations, providing flexibility for students to plan their study schedules. Besides academic activities, students will also have the opportunity to intern, conduct research under the guidance of the host university’s faculty, and engage in cultural, exchange, and community activities.
- Organizing an annual conference on training and quality assurance in education: Each year, the two sides will alternately host or co-organize conferences on training and educational quality assurance on different topics. The universities will share experiences in building education quality assurance systems, accreditation of training programs and educational institutions, as well as experiences in admissions, curriculum development, and new program creation.
- Scientific research activities and other initiatives, such as: cooperation in faculty exchange and research between the two sides; sharing of e-lectures and joint use of online courses; and collaboration in organizing programs to enhance the effectiveness of entrepreneurship and innovation activities at both universities.

At the ceremony, both sides also exchanged experiences in education and research to improve the quality of education and build a strong academic network among higher education institutions.
