On the afternoon of December 1, the University of Economics - UDN held a solemn Opening Ceremony and disseminated Training Regulations & Student Management Guidelines for postgraduate students of the K48 cohort, the second intake of 2024.
Welcome Performance
The opening ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh - Vice-Rector of the University, along with representatives from various units: the Office of Student Affairs, the Office of Academic Affairs, the Faculty of Accounting, the Faculty of Banking, the Faculty of Political Theory, and the Faculty of Statistics and Informatics, as well as 115 newly admitted students.
In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh congratulated the students for their successful admission into the University of Economics - UDN’s master’s program. He emphasized the significance of postgraduate education in the strategy for developing high-quality human resources to meet the demands of integration and digital transformation. The Vice Rector affirmed that the University of Economics - UDN will continuously strive to provide the best learning and research environment to support students in achieving academic and practical success.

Representing the newly admitted students, Le Van Dang Huy (majoring in Economic Management) expressed his honor and pride in becoming a postgraduate student at the University of Economics: “This marks an important milestone in our learning and development journey. The teachers will always be the source of inspiration and guidance throughout the postgraduate program. Today, becoming a part of the University of Economics - UDN, a school with generations of successful alumni across Vietnam, has long been our aspiration and goal. We pledge to study diligently, continuously improve and enhance our knowledge, and not let down the efforts of our esteemed teachers. Throughout our time here, we hope to receive further attention, support, and favorable conditions from our teachers to fulfill our academic roles and responsibilities successfully.”

On the same afternoon, the University of Economics - UDN organized a meeting for newly admitted part-time students, introducing the training regulations and student policies. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Office of Student Affairs, the Office of Academic Affairs, and 63 new part-time students.
The meeting provided an opportunity for new students to familiarize themselves with the academic environment and grasp essential regulations for their study and training at the university.
In his opening remarks, a representative from the Office of Student Affairs extended congratulations to the new students for choosing the University of Economics - UDN as their destination for further academic pursuits. The speech emphasized the importance of adhering to training regulations and discipline in the university environment.
During the program, a representative from the Office of Academic Affairs elaborated on the training regulations, including the program structure, teaching requirements, and guidelines for the management of part-time students’ learning and activities. Additionally, university staff provided career guidance and addressed challenges and concerns raised by the students about training and study schedules.
The meeting created an opportunity for new students to resolve their queries, share their expectations, and receive valuable advice from the faculty. This marks a favorable start, instilling confidence in students for their academic journey and personal development.
