Signing Cooperation Agreement with City St George’s, University of London to Advance Education Internationalisation

On April 14, 2026, The University of Danang - University of Economics signed a memorandum of understanding with City St George’s, University of London (United Kingdom), marking a significant step forward in its international integration strategy and the expansion of its academic and research partnership network.


The two sides signed the memorandum of understanding.

Under the agreement, both parties agreed to implement a wide range of cooperation areas, including: piloting a micro-credential training programme in Green Finance; promoting academic and educational exchanges among lecturers and students; supporting exchange visits by senior leaders, staff and faculty members; fostering collaborative research between lecturers and students; developing joint undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as internship opportunities; seeking funding for joint projects; co-organising seminars, workshops and conferences; and exchanging publications and/or materials for educational and research purposes.

Notably, the Green Finance micro-credential programme has been selected for pilot implementation, with expectations that it will anticipate global sustainable development trends, contributing to enhancing learners’ professional capacity, global mindset and career adaptability amid the world economy’s strong shift towards green and sustainable growth.

Dr. Huynh Thi Hong Hanh, Vice Rector of the University, emphasised that the partnership would open up numerous opportunities for international learning and exchange for lecturers and students. The University expects the cooperation programmes to be implemented effectively in the near term, delivering practical and long-term value for both sides.

Following the signing ceremony, both sides held a discussion session on future cooperation directions, aiming to identify priority areas as well as specific short- and medium-term implementation activities.
