On the afternoon of July 17, the University of Economics - University of Danang organized a meeting to discuss cooperation opportunities with California State University, San Bernardino (CSU-SB), USA. Representing CSU-SB was Dr. Taewon Yang, Chair of the Department of Accounting and Finance. Welcoming the delegation were Dr. Bui Huynh Nguyen, Deputy Head of the Office of Science & International Cooperation; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thieu Quang, Deputy Head of the Training Department; Dr. Nguyen Lan Phuong, Deputy Head of the Department of Accounting; and Dr. Phan Dang My Phuong, Head of the Banking Department.

During discussions on cooperation directions, Dr. Taewon Yang proposed exchange programs, student and faculty transfers, and postgraduate training based on the strengths of both institutions. The University of Economics also expressed a desire to implement short-term exchange programs such as summer semesters and to invite CSU-SB faculty to conduct seminars for academic exchanges with the University's faculty. Representatives from both sides discussed the feasibility of recognizing courses within the training programs of the two universities.

Both parties reached a high level of agreement on the directions for cooperation and hoped that many students and faculty members from the University of Economics would have the opportunity to study at CSU-SB and vice versa. Representatives from both universities stated they would continue discussions and work towards signing a comprehensive cooperation agreement in various fields in the near future.
