Summary of the congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the University of Economics - the University of Danang, session XI, term 2022 - 2024

Recently, on March 19, 2022, the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Economics - the University of Danang took place very successfully. At the plenary session, the Congress was honored to receive the attendance of Mr. Dinh Ngoc Lam Dien - Deputy Head of Youth Department of Thanh Doan School, Standing Vice Chairman of Danang Student Union, MSc. Le Dinh Quang Phuc - Member of the Standing Committee of the Youth Union, Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Danang.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Dinh Khoi Nguyen - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council spoke at the Congress
On the side of the Party Committee, the University's Board of Directors, the congress was attended by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan - Rector of the University of Economics, Assoc. Prof.Dr.Tran Dinh Khoi Nguyen - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy - Vice-Rector of the University. Additionally, the congress was also honored to receive the attendance of comrades who were former Secretary of the Union of Economics University over the years, lecturers who are leaders of the University's Trade Union, leaders of faculties, departments, and centers under the school. Most especially, the Congress had the participation of 124 outstanding delegates representing more than 12,000 Union members studying at the university.
After a period of serious and urgent work, this congress aimed to evaluate the results of the implementation of the resolution of the Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Economics, term of 2019 - 2022; thereby drawing lessons from experience and setting out directions and tasks for the Youth Union's work and youth movement for the new term 2022 - 2024. During the last term, the Youth Union members in the whole university united, made great efforts to achieve many achievements in Youth Union work and youth movement, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the University Union Congress for the term 2019 - 2022.
At the congress, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Economics - the University of Danang also listened to and absorbed the guiding statements of the Party Committee, the University's Board of Directors, and the Standing Board of the Danang University Youth Union. At the same time, the congress also elected the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Economics, session XI, term 2022 - 2024. As a result, comrade Tran Thi Thanh Thao was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Youth Union, and other comrades holding the position of Deputy Secretary, including comrade Tran Xuan Quynh, comrade Tran Dinh Long, and comrade Van Cong Vu.
Also at this congress, to recognize the contributions of individuals to the overall achievement of the Youth Union of the University of Economics; The Standing Committee of the Danang Youth Union and the Standing Committee of the University of Economics have decided to award certificates of merit to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in Union work and youth movement in the last term.
Once again, congratulations on the success of the 11th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the University of Economics - the University of Danang, term 2022 - 2024. Wishing the Union work and Youth movement of the Youth University of Economics will grow stronger and stronger, worthy of being an excellent leading unit in the next academic years.
