    • Overview Faculty of Commerce

      Faculty of Commerce was formerly known as the Faculty of Economics of the Danang University of Technology (1975). In 1995, the Faculty of Commerce & Tourism was established as an independent faculty of Danang University of Economics and Business Administration. Due to the demand to develop and expand, Faculty of Commerce was separated from Faculty of Commerce & Tourism in 2012; and is one of the 12 faculties of University of Economics. Over the period of building and development, the Faculty has achieved prominent success, contributing to the overall development of the University in many fields such as education and training, scientific research, community development and international relation as well.
      MESSAGE FROM HEAD OF THE FACULTY

      As a traditional department of the Danang University of Economics – the University of Danang, the Commerce Department has to be constantly changing and carry out an appropriate strategy of development in order to become a qualified and reputable educational institution. The Commerce Department has to continuously evolve the teaching activities and academic researches to adapt to the high and various demands of businesses and society. In that circumstance:

      The department of Commerce is committed to focus on students, to respect customers, partners, and individuals, to cooperate, to be compassionate, to be objective, to be unambiguous and to continuously evolve in order to improve the knowledge and to contribute to the growth of the University, businesses, and society.

      After a period of developing and maturing, our department has thousands of students graduating with majors in International Business and Commerce. They have knowledge and occupational abilities and hold different positions in organizations and businesses, domestically and internationally. Many of them have successful developments and are holding important positions. In order to achieve that accomplishment, our department always has a team of instructors who are ethical, enthusiastic, career-loving, energetic, and growing and are always well-trained. Furthermore, the learning program was designed and updated by referring to the learning programs of reputable domestic and international universities and by refining to fit the demand of the labor market.

      The Department’s learning programs was developed with the consultation of businesses and alumni. They also assist us with internship activities and academic researches, which help students apply knowledge into reality. Participating in educational activities and researches about Commerce and International Business has allowed us to establish and maintain relationships with governments, researching organizations, and businesses globally.

      I hope that the Commerce Department is a trustful educational place for students and is a capable partner which businesses and organizations care, share, and improve knowledge.
