English for Specific Purposes (ESP) Section

The Department of English for Specific Purposes was established in 2012 as the University of Economics - The University of Danang accelerated its educational internationalisation. Beginning with a single lecturer - Mrs Trương Thị Phương Trang - the Department embraced its mission to nurture and develop students' academic English and English for Specific Purposes competencies.

From this initial foundation, with a spirit of continuous innovation, the Department has steadily grown into a strong collective, becoming a vital bridge in the University's programme internationalisation journey. The Department has developed a rich array of specialised English modules, working hand in hand with the University to guide students towards confident exploration of the academic world and self-realisation in the globalised environment.

After over a decade, the Department has transformed remarkably with a team of 18 lecturers rigorously trained in advanced educational systems including the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, and Australia, comprising 3 Doctors, 3 Doctoral candidates, and 12 Masters. With diverse expertise spanning from English Language and TESOL to Economics, Finance, Business Administration, and Tourism, the Department has created a comprehensive and enriched system of specialised English modules, continuing to affirm its position as a solid bridge in the University's educational internationalisation journey.
