The University of Danang - University of Economics (DUE), National Economics University (NEU), Thuongmai University (TMU), Vietnam Academy of Finance (AOF), Banking Academy of Vietnam (BAV), University of Economics & Business – VNU Hanoi (VNU-UEB), Foreign Trade University (FTU), University of Economics – Hue University (HCE), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), and University of Economics and Law - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (UEL), are organizing The 1st International Student Research Conference on Economics and Business (SR-ICYREB 2022), to be held on July 30th, 2022 in Danang City, Vietnam.
SR-ICYREB aims to create and develop an environment for research students’ academic exchange from higher education institutions in economics, business, and management. The conference goal is to promote students’ scientific research activities in the period of international integration and in responding to the “New Normal” of the post-Covid-19 pandemic.
THEMATIC AREAS FOR SR-ICYREB 2022
SR-ICYREB 2022 welcomes paper submissions in English from research students and/or student groups of higher education institutions in economics, business, and management. Topics that the conference encourages to exchange and discuss include (but are not limited to):
● Business performance and environment: mergers, bankruptcy, brand awareness, competitive intelligence, consumer loyalty, consumer risk, corporate culture, corporate social responsibility, customer competencies, green products, industry disruptor, intellectual capital, marketing ethics, risk management, service initiatives, short-term financing, strategic planning.
● Economics: Bitcoin, information asymmetry, credit crisis, currency manipulation, econometrics, economic stimulus approaches, interest rates & foreign exchange, green economy, Trans-Pacific Partnership, minimum wage, national debt, tariffs, unemployment.
● Management and Administration science: Employment equity, Human resources, Knowledge management, Labor disputes, performance evaluation, Succession management, Team leadership, Telecommuting, Total quality management, Workplace atmosphere.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Mazur Mieszko is currently an associate professor at ESSCA School of Management. In 2010, he got his PhD in Finance from one of the most prestigious European universities (Tilburg University). Assoc. Prof. Mazur Mieszko specializes in Corporate Finance, Corporate Investments, Family firms, Blockchains, and FinTech, with many publications in these fields. Besides, he teaches FinTech, Advanced Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, and Corporate Investments courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for some universities in Europe and Australia. Since 2015, he has participated as an independent reviewer of many top-tier journals in finance, including Journal of Banking & Finance, Journal of Financial Markets, International Review of Financial Analysis, Finance Research Letters, and Applied Economics. From January 2021, Assoc. Prof. Mieszko was a visiting professor and professional advisor for the Faculty of Finance of UD-DUE in developing the FinTech program. He is also an academic consultant for scientific events of UD-DUE.
PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY
All papers accepted and presented at SR-ICYREB 2022 will be published in the conference proceedings with an associated ISBN. Moreover, high-quality papers might be selected to be in an issue of Journal of Economic Studies (The University of Danang - University of Economics), Journal of Science and Technology (The University of Danang) and other journals of ICYREB-2022 co-organizers.

All submissions must be in Word format under the required template, and be sent electronically via the Conference’s email. Also, all submissions should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical, and will be peer-reviewed. SR-ICYREB 2022 program will be available by July 30th, 2022.
BEST PAPER AWARDS
All papers will be considered for the Best Paper Awards.
