Getting Around

Danang is known as one of the first-class and accessible cities with a modern transport system and infrastructure. Therefore, you can easily travel to Danang or leave here for other destinations using different means of transport.

Danang possesses the third-biggest international airport in Vietnam. It is located in Hai Chau, a county of Danang city, about 3 kilometres away from the city centre.

BY RAIL

Luckily, Danang is on the way of  the trans-Vietnam rail system. Danang station is located right in the city centre ( a 15 minute-drive from Danang University of Economics). You can catch any train from Danang to other cities in Vietnam. The national rail system is currently being upgraded to serve passengers quickly and safely. BY MOTORBIKE

Motorbikes are used as the main inter-city transport by Vietnamese people. In Danang, you can get a lot of freedom wandering about the streets on a motorbike because a majority of streets here are big and smooth. In addition, you can make a short trip by bike to the neighbouring ancient town Hoi An ( about 30 minute-ride from Danang) or to conquer the majestic Hai Van Pass then pay a visit to poetic Hue city (about 2 hour-drive from Danang).

You can get  bike rental service at many motorbike shops or hotels with a price ranging from VND100,000 to VND 150,000 per day.

BY BICYCLE

Travelling around Danang city by bicycle is not only cost-effective and convenient but also environmentally-friendly. Like by bike, you can easily rent a bicycle to get around the city so as to have a good feeling being exposed to the sun and bewitch the eye by spectacular scenery. In addition, you will feel more relaxing to ride a bicycle along the coastline in the afternoon or even become fitter by conquering the steep undulations in Son Tra peninsula  

Travelling around Danang in a cyclo is also an enjoyable experience for tourists. Da Nang cyclos are uniform in design and color, They are  also very clean with pent roof, and high enough for guests to watch the streets in a very comfortable seat with based soft padded back and annually recurring maintenance. The drivers have themselve uniforms in green, yellow shirt and yellow hat that makes a very professional and special style for the general vehicle. You can easily find out a pedicab on many popular places such as: Bach Dang street, Phuong Dong hotel, Han river, Sunriver, Green Plaza, etc.

BY BUS

With a reasonable price, bus is commonly used by many people especially workers and students living in the suburbs or neighbouring communes. There are 38 bus routes from and to the city. It takes every 20 minutes for a bus turn. Buses serve travellers daily from 5.30 to 17.50
