International Conference ICYREB-2025 Successfully Held

On August 29, 2025, the University of Economics - University of Da Nang, in collaboration with nine universities and academies across Vietnam, organized the 11th International Conference for Young Researchers in Economics and Business (ICYREB-2025).
Co-organizing institutions included: National Economics University, Foreign Trade University, University of Commerce, Banking Academy, Academy of Finance, University of Economics - Vietnam National University Hanoi, University of Economics - University of Hue, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, and University of Economics and Law - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
In her opening speech, Associate Professor Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh, Chairwoman of the University Council, emphasized the role of ICYREB in encouraging young researchers to engage in scientific research and fostering a dynamic academic environment for knowledge exchange and development.

Associate Professor Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector of the University, presented souvenirs to the two keynote speakers.
During the plenary session, two international speakers delivered key presentations:
- Dr. Robert Radics, University of Lincoln, New Zealand, presented on “Green Supply Chains and the Circular Economy,” analyzing solutions for integrating strategic management with efficient resource utilization.

- Professor Gary Lit, former professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, presented on “Globalization and De-Globalization,” focusing on changes in global economic relations and their impacts on businesses and policies.

Following the plenary session, the conference continued with 13 parallel discussion sessions (6 in the morning and 7 in the afternoon), featuring 176 papers centered on the theme “Contemporary Issues in Economics, Management, and Business in the Era of Connectivity.” Discussions focused on topical issues such as digital transformation, circular economy, sustainable development, corporate governance, and enhancing research capacity for young academics through knowledge sharing, experience exchange, and academic publishing.

At the conclusion of ICYREB-2025, the organizing committee awarded the Best Paper Awards to outstanding research works:

- Pham Thi Be Loan, Tran Khanh Huyen, Nguyen Bui Minh Thu, Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh, Luong Thi Ly Na: “From Motivation to Action: A Vietnam-based Study on Public Self-Service Technology Adoption through the Lens of SDT-TAM Integration, with Perceived Waiting Time as a Moderating Factor.”
- Phung Bich Ngoc, Tran Ngoc Diep, Tran Thi Thu Phuong: “Legal Issues on General Terms and Conditions of E-Commerce Platforms Under Vietnamese Law.”
- Hoang Vu Hiep, Nguyen Minh Hang, Cao Van Tai, Ngo Thi Thanh Lan, Nguyen Quang Ha: “Environmental Awareness Mediates Digital Leapfrogging and Circular Logistics Engagement: Evidence from Vietnam's Emerging Economy.”
- Pham Thi Tuyet Trinh, Nguyen Phong Nguyen: “Exploring the Moderating Role of Environmental Knowledge in Enhancing Environmental Performance: Evidence from Vietnamese SMEs.”
- Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao: “Environmental Liability of Parent Companies for Violations Committed by Their Subsidiaries: Lessons from the United Kingdom and the United States.”
- Vu Thi Thuy Van, Duong Thu Huyen: “The Impact of Geopolitical Risk on the Sustainable Growth Rate of Listed Companies in Vietnam.”
- Minh Duc Nguyen: “Adaptive Asset Allocation Based on Root Mean Squared Error and Forecast Returns.”
- Truong Thi Phuong Anh, Pham Ngoc Duy: “Driving SME Performance in Emerging Markets: The Role of Servant Leadership and Frugal Innovation Capabilities.”
