Opening Ceremony of the Workshop Series on Scientific Research Methods for Faculty and Researchers

On the morning of March 1st, the University of Economics - University of Danang (DUE) held the opening ceremony of a Workshop Series on Scientific Research Methods for its faculty members and researchers. This important workshop series aims to enhance research capabilities and support faculty members and researchers in conducting high-quality scientific studies. The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy, Rector of the University of Economics, along with leaders of various departments and faculties, as well as a large number of faculty members and researchers currently studying and working at the university.

In his opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy emphasized that scientific research plays a crucial role in the university’s development. It not only improves teaching quality but also contributes to building a strong academic foundation and fostering a scholarly community within the institution. The workshop series provides an opportunity for faculty members and researchers to explore modern research methods, enhance their ability to publish scientific papers, and promote academic collaboration.

Following the opening ceremony, the first workshop session, titled "Overview of Scientific Research and Research Proposal Development," was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy. His presentation provided faculty members and researchers with a comprehensive understanding of scientific research, approaches to research methodology, and effective strategies for developing research proposals, including defining research objectives, formulating research questions, and selecting appropriate data collection methods.

The workshop series consists of 12 sessions, featuring topics presented by speakers from the University of Economics and Macquarie University (Australia). These sessions aim to support faculty members and researchers in gradually refining their research, working towards international scientific publications, and building a research community within the university. Additionally, the initiative encourages knowledge exchange and research collaboration among faculty members and scholars.
