Honouring the Contributions of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Ha Tan, an Outstanding Educator

On November 2, 2026, the University of Economics, The University of Danang, held a gathering to pay tribute to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Ha Tan, an Outstanding Educator (formerly Vice Rector and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and a lecturer at the Faculty of Accounting), on his retirement in accordance with regulations. The occasion provided an opportunity for the university to express its profound gratitude for his many years of dedication to education and reaffirmed its tradition of recognising the contributions of successive generations of staff and employees to the university's sustainable development.

Speaking at the gathering, Professor Le Van Huy, Rector of the university, expressed his deep appreciation for Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Ha Tan's contributions throughout his years of leadership and service. University leaders emphasised that his contributions went beyond helping establish the institution's academic foundations and educating generations of outstanding students. His sound strategic decisions also played an important role in guiding the University of Economics through pivotal stages of development. The values, experience and sense of responsibility he leaves behind will continue to be inherited and upheld by future generations of university leaders, faculty members and staff.

Mr. Ngo Ha Tan devoted many years of service to the Faculty of Accounting.

Reflecting on the conclusion of his professional career, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Ha Tan expressed his emotion and gratitude for the trust, support and companionship of successive generations of lecturers and students throughout his 45 years in leadership, teaching and research roles. He extended his best wishes to the University of Economics, expressing his hope that the institution would continue to grow, pursue strategic development directions and reach new heights.
