The University of Economics, The University of Danang, is offering 22 scholarships covering up to 100% of first-year tuition fees for full-time, research-oriented master's students under the 50th intake of its Young Researcher Development Programme. The initiative aims to enable high-achieving students with research potential to pursue postgraduate education.

All 22 selected students have outstanding academic and research records. Of the cohort, 15 graduated with Excellent honours and seven with Very Good honours. Some have already earned academic research awards at university and ministry levels, including first prize at faculty level and an encouragement award at the National Student Econometrics Olympiad.

The Young Researcher Development Programme is one of DUE's flagship initiatives to identify, nurture and develop young academics with strong scholarly capabilities, research potential and a long-term commitment to the university.

The programme targets outstanding students with strong academic performance, foreign language proficiency, research aptitude and the qualities required for university-level teaching and research. Those selected are given early opportunities to participate in academic activities, conduct scientific research, work as teaching assistants and collaborate with the university's lecturers and research teams.

In particular, to help young researchers strengthen their professional expertise and prepare for future academic careers, DUE provides master's scholarships to high-achieving students selected for the programme. Through early identification, targeted training and long-term investment, the initiative contributes to developing a highly qualified academic workforce, rejuvenating the university's teaching staff and enhancing its teaching and research capacity in a new phase of development.

The programme's approach to developing young researchers is aligned with the goals of improving human resource quality, advancing science and technology, promoting innovation and developing highly skilled talent, as emphasised in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.

By supporting students from the earliest stages of their research journey, DUE not only expands opportunities for talented individuals but also helps build a new generation of lecturers and researchers with strong professional expertise and the potential to make lasting contributions to the university and the wider academic community.
