DUE Students Demonstrate Their Innovative Spirit with Impressive Achievements at SIEC 2026

The Innovative Startup Competition for Students - SIEC 2026 concluded with noteworthy achievements by students from the University of Economics - The University of Danang. At this year’s competition, DUE teams presented creative ideas and demonstrated thorough preparation, proactive engagement, and strong commitment throughout the development and refinement of their projects.

Team SIEC_621 received the Consolation Prize for the project “SoulViet – A Tourism Platform Connecting Vietnamese Cultural Values”. The project aims to connect travelers with local cultural values through an innovative tourism platform, thereby contributing to the promotion of Vietnam’s cultural identity through new and engaging approaches. The team includes Nguyễn Trương Nhật Minh and Lê Hữu Tùng Dương, both from Class 50K33 at The University of Danang - University of Economics, in collaboration with three students from The University of Danang -  University of Science and Technology. The project was developed under the guidance and mentorship of Nguyễn Bảo Phương, expert Phạm Ngọc Sinh, and Nguyễn Nam Hải.

Team SIEC_623 received the Impressive Award for the project “Piper Lolot Herbal Extract - A Natural Solution to Support the Treatment of Musculoskeletal Conditions through the Integration of NFC Technology and Meteorological Data”. The project stood out for its integration of traditional natural ingredients, technological applications, and a clear orientation toward practical implementation. The team comprises Dương Hiển Tuấn, Nguyễn Tường Vy, Đỗ Thị Kim Lan, and Trần Chí Thành, all from Class 49K22.3 at The University of Danang - University of Economics. Throughout the development of the project, the team received professional guidance and mentorship from Nguyễn Bảo Phương, Phạm Ngọc Sinh, and traditional medicine practitioner Đặng Hữu Thành.
